The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) brought its tour bus to South Carolina yesterday, making stops in four cities. It is part of a 39-state tour aimed at increasing Republican Voter turnout.

NFRW President Carrie Almond, a University of South Carolina graduate, said that the mission of the tour bus is to elect Republicans from Donald Trump down to the local government level. She refuted the media narrative that women have rejected Trump.

“We have traveled from Niagara Falls to Mt. Rushmore,” Almond told an enthusiastic crowd in Charleston. “Women all over the country are ready to support Donald Trump!”

The tour will continue in North Carolina and continue all the way until election day. A scheduled stop in Beaufort had to be cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew storm recovery efforts.
