Talent scouts seeking Charleston actors, models, singers and dancers

Discovery Spotlight will hold open call auditions in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn Charleston-Mount Pleasant hotel, located at 250 Johnnie Dodds Blvd in Mt Pleasant, on Saturday, January 21st from 1pm to 2pm. Novice and seasoned actors, models, singers and dancers are urged to participate. No fee is required to participate.

“We’re hoping to find a few stand-out performers this weekend,” said Discovery Spotlight National Director Rebecca Dueger. “The greater Charleston area has always provided us with exceptional talent, and I’m expecting nothing less from this audition.”

Models will be evaluated based on photogenic quality, presence and personality. Actors are being asked to perform a commercial or monologue, 60 seconds or less. Singers and dancers will have 90 seconds to perform a selection of their choice.
