With a record-setting 20th season just completed, the Charleston RiverDogs are already looking ahead to their next two decades at The Joe. The RiverDogs and the Goldklang Group have begun work on a luxury 6,000-square foot club level to be opened in advance of the 2017 campaign at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.  The new luxury event space will serve as an ultra-high end premium area for RiverDogs game and events, featuring an elevated food experience that will be all-inclusive, with complimentary beer and wine. The space will also serve as a destination for high end weddings, banquets, meetings and more on a year-round basis. The project is expected to be completed by early March, in time to host open houses and inaugural events prior to the start of the RiverDogs season.

The club level will be built by Mashburn Construction on the first base side of The Joe. The space will extend from the edge of the press box to the end of the grandstand bleachers. The club’s interior will feature lounge seating steeped in Lowcountry elegance, a drink rail overlooking the field of play, and 118 padded, stadium-style seats on the exterior. With breathtaking views of the Ashley River wetlands through floor-to- ceiling glass, the club level structure extends over the marsh to accentuate one of the best vistas in all of minor league baseball.

The RiverDogs are a Class A affiliate of the New York Yankees in the South Atlantic League. The RiverDogs begin the season on April 6 when they host the Lexington Legends at Joseph P Riley, Jr. Park.
