Charleston City Council will vote on a variety of proposed zoning changes to increase zoning density (housing units allowed per acre). It will also act on several ordinances involving the proposed Dupont/Wappoo Community Plan in West Ashley.

The Charleston Planning Commission will decide on the proposed The Core apartment complex on Maybank Highway on James Island, consisting of 279 units.
