Trump to return to Charleston for fundraiser

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will visit Charleston in September for the first time since he handily won the South Carolina primary with 32.5 percent of the vote February 20. According to Ed McMullen, Trump’s South Carolina campaign chairman, the purpose of the visit is a fundraiser intended for South Carolinians with deep pockets who have expressed interest in donating to Trump. ¬†Trump self-fianced most of his primary campaign and has raised $127 million from out for the general election.
