Euro Foods Bakery and Cafe[1] opened its hot bar Sunday. The West Ashley eatery, which opened as a deli and grocery in October, is located at 1664 Old Towne Road, adjacent to T-Bonz restaurant. The hot bar will offer dine-in and take-out service from 11 am to 3 pm daily. A full menu will be introduced later this month, along with expanded operating hours.

The restaurant features Eastern European fare. The initial lunch offerings included Russian meatballs, Polish sauerkraut and sausage, a pilaf dish, chicken breasts, seasoned grilled vegetables and pan-seared potatoes. There are also fresh-baked pastry offerings.

The deli and grocery section features a variety of breads, meats, cheeses, and grocery staples common to Eastern and Central Europe. It also has an ice cream case and sandwiches. The hours there are Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
