President Donald Trump has rolled out his second term agenda as the Republican National Convention opened today in Charlotte. Trump will officially accept the Republican Party nomination Thursday evening.

Among the top agenda items are tax credits for manufacturers who shift operations from overseas to America, the creation of 10 million jobs in 10 months, ending economic reliance on suppliers in China, eradicating COVID-19, reducing medical insurance premiums and prescription drug prices, and making school choice options available to every American student. The Trump 2020 campaign recently released a survey on his second term agenda.

Unlike the Democratic convention a week ago, the Republicans are doing a lot of live events with audiences during the four-day convention. Vice President Mike Pence will appear Wednesday at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, where the Star Spangled Banner was written. President Trump is breaking from tradition by making appearances each day during the convention.
