Woodworking studio Board and Brush will soon be coming to Midway Plaza at 1300 Savannah Highway at the former Green Goat restaurant site. Board and Brush conducts woodworking workshops in which participants produce custom signs, plaques, decorations, nameplates and other projects. All tools and materials are provided.

Owners Andrew and Whitney Mitchell are excited to be opening the West Ashley studio, with an August target date. The closest Board and Brush studios are currently located in Savannah and North Myrtle Beach. The workshops, which are also made available to private groups, generally run from two to three hours.

I am interested in using a bandsaw on occasion for cutouts for Woodcarving. Do you allow access? I am retired and downsized to apt and sold all power woodworking tools..
