Jeffrey Bannon fell in love with the South and moved to Charleston in 2010.  He grew up in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, and then received a bachelor degree in interior design from  Marywood University in Pennsylvania and Parsons School of Design in New York.  He owned an interior design business in Philadelphia and Washington D.C.   He visited eight major cites in the South with his yellow lab, Baxter, before deciding Charleston would be home.

In 2011 he opened Jeffrey Bannon Ltd. at 903 Saint Andrews Boulevard in West Ashley.   When walking in to Jeffrey Bannon’s shop, one is greeted by glorious scents jeff-in-blackand sights.  Bridal registry makes up 40% of sales with the rest being gifts and decor.  The entire store is online at jeffreybannon.com offering convenient gift buying. Several items are made locally such as  jewelry by Barbara Clawson of Kiawah who specializes in semi-precious stones and crystals.  The Old Goats make Charleston Hookers, a barbecue tool, and Circa Charleston Candlesticks made from old South of Broad porch railings.  Several items such as candleholders and Christmas trees are made of oyster shells giving decor items a unique, Charleston flair.
